Quality & Compliance

This page lists what we have and what we do not. Suppliers rarely admit the second part — which is why it tends to surface at customs instead of here.

Kosher Certification Not currently held · available on request for North American routes
NOT HELD
Why we list "NOT HELD" openly Because you will find out anyway — at pre-shipment inspection, at customs, or when your QA team runs a supplier audit. Finding it yourself costs you a container. Finding it here costs you a paragraph.

If a certification is a hard requirement for your market, tell us at the enquiry stage and we will say straight away whether we can meet it.
Food safety system

Where our risks are, and what we do about them

Frozen berry processing has a small number of well-understood hazards. Knowing them in advance is what separates a supplier who has been audited from one who has not.

HazardWhere it entersOur controlVerification
Hepatitis A virusNorovirus also relevant Contaminated irrigation water; infected harvest labour Potable water requirement at farm; hand hygiene and health screening for pickers; HACCP CCP with validated kill step where applicable Sanitation records per shift; buyer-agreed testing plan
Pesticide residue Pre-harvest application; drift from neighbouring plots Integrated pest management; pre-harvest interval enforced; buffer zone from neighbouring spraying Multi-residue LC-MS/MS panel per lot on request
Heavy metals Soil and irrigation source Annual soil and water analysis at base level Third-party laboratory report available on request
Foreign matter Field debris, stalks, leaves Optical sorting plus manual QC pass; magnetic separation Defect tolerance recorded per lot on COA
Microbial growth Temperature abuse anywhere in chain Tunnel IQF at −35°C within hours of harvest; continuous cold store; reefer transport with logger Logger file shipped with container — you verify, not us
Allergen / cross-contact Shared line with other fruit Sequenced production with cleaning validation between allergens Cleaning validation records available under NDA

From which field to which container

Recall only works if the chain is unbroken. Ours is, and we can prove it.

Block / plot ID Each growing block carries an identifier

Harvest records tie fruit to a specific block, with picking date and picker team.

Harvest lot number Assigned at intake to freezing

Harvest-to-freeze interval recorded in hours. This is the number raspberry and blackberry buyers should ask us for.

Production batch Freezer tunnel batch + operator

Freezer log records temperature curve per batch, not just a pass/fail.

Test result COA linked to production batch

Brix, pH, microbiology — recorded against the batch, so a result can be traced forward to cartons and backward to field.

Carton code Printed code per carton

Carton code maps to batch code. You can identify which cartons came from which lot without opening them.

Container B/L number on your documents

Container number cross-referenced to your invoice and packing list, so a hold at destination maps back to a field in Yunnan.

What this means for you If a regulator or your customer raises a concern, we can reconstruct the path from their carton back to a specific growing block within one working day. That capability is what turns "we will look into it" into an answer.
Inspection

Third-party inspection is welcome

We do not charge for pre-shipment photos and a draft COA. You are welcome to book your own inspector at your cost — and we would encourage it on a first order.

📷

Pre-shipment evidence

Photos of the actual lot, filled cartons, palletised container interior and the running temperature display — sent before the container is sealed. Not stock photography, not a previous order.

🔍

SGS / BV / Intertek

Any recognised inspection company may inspect at origin. We provide full access to the line, the lab records and the lot on hold. Book it with at least 7 days notice so the lot can be reserved.

🧪

Tightened limits on request

If your market or customer requires limits stricter than our standard, we will quote the additional testing openly before you commit — not reveal it as a surprise at inspection.

🤝

Audit rights

Customers may audit our facility. Remote video walkthrough is available for buyers who cannot travel; on-site audit is welcome without charge.
